Windmill, Holland

A windmill is a machine which converts the energy of wind to rotational motion, used to grind grain, extract seed oils, obtaining fresh water from underground and drainage. The most famous old windmills are in Netherlands, especially the windmills of Kinderdijk, placed on the list of UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites in 1997.
